MASH Hawkeye & The Gang Classic 80s Tv
The innovative 80’s TV show M*A*S*H. was based on the 1968 novel M*A*S*H by Richard Hooker. This 80’s drama was a household favorite. The TV series M*A*S*H was set near Seoul, South Korea during the Korean War. The plots centered on the group of doctors and nurses whose job was to tend to the wounded who arrived at the unit.

The main characters of the MASH series were: Dr. “Hawkeye” Pierce (Alan Alda) and “Trapper” John McIntyre (Wayne Rogers). Pierce and McIntyre were exceptional surgeons who drank and caroused, and had little use for military authority. Other medical officeres were: Dr. Frank Burns (Larry Linville) and Senior Nurse, Major Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan (Loretta Swit). Lt. Col. Henry Blake (McLean Stevenson) was the bumbling head of the camp. Burns’ assistant was Corporal Walter “Radar” O’Reilly (Gary Burghoff). Other recurring characters included: Cross-dresser Corporal Max Klinger (Jamie Farr) who, and Father Francis Mulcahy (William Christopher), the camp priest.
